I really wanted to participate in js13kgames for a third year running. Having joined too many gamejams I nearly gave up on this year’s edition on the basis that I only had a few days to create my game,

I implemented an idea I had for a PICO-8 game originally. It draws heavy inspiration from Tetris and Puyo Puyo. Of course, Tetris is a legendary game, and in order to not just copy it, you need to find a cool idea that is both intuitive and challenging.

I’m not sure my idea is that, but it is atleast different enough to not be a Tetris clone.

It does have a few bugs as I rushed to get it into a submittable state. Maybe I will go back and make a post-compo version at some point,
